A Mindfulness Group for Young Adults 16-25
Every Monday, October 19 - December 28
8-9:30 EST / 7-8:30 CST / 4-5:30 PST
Young people are experiencing unprecedented challenges during this pandemic, as schools and careers are disrupted, social and cultural activity is limited, and the country faces economic, social, and environmental crises. With the election and the annual holiday season approaching, we’re offering a support group to help you keep your mind steady, bring kindness to yourself, and help you feel less overwhelmed, discouraged, or anxious.
Sessions will be co-led by meditation teacher Kimberly Brown, and meditator and college student Madeleine Piechocki-Cannet. Each week will include guided mindfulness practice, exploration of ways to bring wisdom and peace to our experiences and relationships, and time for sharing and Q&A.
This is a by-donation event. Participants are encouraged to give what they can reasonably afford. Suggested donation is $10-$15. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. You must register at the link below to receive login information.
